Tacoma Art Museum

The Benaroya Wing addition to the Tacoma Art Museum is a 5,500-square-foot expansion to the iconic Olson Kundig design. Featuring exposed concrete and stainless steel siding materials, this 30-foot tall building will house gallery space for the new art glass collection. Inside, the 15-foot ceilings will have 500 feet of repositionable track lighting which provides maximum flexibility when lighting the displays. Since the project will be built adjacent to the operating museum, extensive logistics planning and vibration minimization will be at the forefront.
