Renovation project of the vacant Gatewood, most recently occupied by Plymouth Housing Group, into a 96-room hotel. The building, first built in 1898, is both a city landmark and on the National Registry of Places.
The four-story hotel occupies a prime corner on First Avenue. 7,600 square feet of retail space and the lobby facing Pine has been reconfigured. New storefront canopies have been added and the exterior masonry and facade has also been cleaned and restored. The hotel also features a restaurant, bar, and coffee outpost set in the city’s downtown core, steps away from Pike Place Market.
